Whenever you look at me I wish I was her

So I recently started working at Club Monaco for some change while I am home for the summer, which I have mixed feelings about...but that's besides the point.

While I stand for hours at a time folding clothes and cleaning out dressing rooms, the store plays one playlist over and over again. To my delight, there are a couple of songs that I find myself bopping my head to. One being "Cold Shoulder" by Adele. I had never heard of Adele until about a second ago when I Limewired the song (oops!), but I have quickly learned that her stuff is really good.

Listen!...I love this song.

Few Stats:

  • Born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins on  May 5, 1988 in Enfield, North London
  • British press as called her the "new Amy Winehouse."
  • She graduated from The BRIT School for performing arts & technology in Croydon in May 2006, which was the same performing arts school attended by Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, and Leona Lewis.
  • Adele then released her debut album 19, which went straight to #1 in the UK charts and was certified platinum within a month of its release.
  • In March 2008 Adele signed to Columbia Records in America, and embarked on her first live shows in North America and Canada

Check out here website...her live preformance of "Hometown Glory" on her homepage is amaaazing. I wouldn't lie.

I love Adele. Her voice is so pure. Have you heard Chasing Pavements? You'll love it, I promise.
