The Real Grey Gardens

For those who don't know about about Grey Gardens, it is a documentary following the eccentric lives of a the once wealthy socialite mother and daughter pair, both named Edith Beale, living in a rundown mansion in the East Hamptons in 1975. "Big Edie" was the aunt and "Little" Edie was the first cousin of Jackie Kennedy. 

Recently, HBO made a movie of Grey Gardens, starring Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lang, showing the lives of the Beale's before the documentary. From watching the movie adaptation and parts of the documentary "Little" Edie, in my eyes, is an iconic character. He carefree personality, articulation of words, and fashion sense is what stood out the most. Her outfits were pretty entertaining, see for yourself.

A couple of my friends and I went to the beautiful Central Park this past weekend to become one with the Earth..I mean it was Earth Week. 

The pictures turned out so amazing I just had to share. Big shout out to the wonderful photographer my friend, Alex Lux. She's the best, best I ever had. :D

I might have left my heart in Central Park. I thought it was fitting that it stayed there; it made me the happiest I have been in a while.
